We are currently looking for a:
Machine Operator
In this position, you'll work as an operator at one of the machines at our Heerenveen location. You'll be responsible for producing and inspecting our corrugated cardboard packaging. You'll set up, operate, and adjust the machines as needed, and perform minor maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
Thanks to your eye for detail, you'll closely monitor production quality.
Experience as a machine operator is desirable. Don't have it, but do have strong technical acumen? Then inquire about the possibilities!
What do you bring to the table?
- Minimum VMBO (pre-vocational secondary education) work and thinking level;
- Technical acumen or basic knowledge of machines;
- You enjoy working independently, but are also a true team player;
- Affinity for production or experience in a similar role;
- Live within a 30 km radius of Heerenveen;
- Fluent in Dutch.
What do we offer you as a machine operator?
- A 36-hour workweek;
- A fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent contract;
- A competitive salary in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Cardboard and Flexible Packaging;

Internship at DUTCHBOXX
We have been a recognized training company since 1997. For students in the Heerenveen region, we offer BOL and BBL internships in the departments; sales office, administration, production, forwarding, technical service and ICT. Of course you can always send us an open application, in which we can see if the requested internship and period can be fulfilled.

- September 2022 to June 2023: Daan did the Transport & Logistics education at the Friesland College in Heerenveen. IDuring this period he was active 3 days a week in the expedition department.
- October 2022 to December 2022: Suzan was studying Wholesale Store Manager at Friesland College in Heerenveen. During this period she was active 5 days a week in the sales department.
- March 2022 to June 2022: Dion did the Transport & Logistics education at the Friesland College in Heerenveen. During this period he was active 3 days a week in the expedition department.
