Cardboard boxes are everywhere. They are in the supermarket, your order at a webshop is sent in them and the favorite bottles of wine are also ready in a box at the liquor store on Friday afternoon. All that packaging has to come from somewhere. At DutchBoxx from Heerenveen, for example, where they produce corrugated cardboard packaging. An interview with director Piet Stilma.
“Sometimes when I receive a gift, I find the packaging more interesting than the content,” Stilma begins with a laugh. “Ultimately, it's a disposable product and consumers don't really think about it. I think that's logical too. But I think it's nice to see what ideas companies sometimes come up with. The cardboard box has been around for a long time, of course, but there are still surprising developments.”
