DUTCHBOXX is proud of the collaboration with our main supplier ProGroup in the groundbreaking "next-generation" concept of the paper industry. But what exactly does this entail?

"Next-generation" represents a revolution in the production of paper and corrugated cardboard. It involves innovative processes for a new generation of products, such as nextfibre® corrugated paper and nextboard® corrugated board, manufactured by our experienced partner from Germany. Essentially, it comes down to a fundamental revision of the production process. This enables us to produce nextbox® packaging. A higher content of recycled fibers per square meter makes it possible to make the wave in the corrugated board thinner, resulting in significant volume savings with the same corrugated board strength.

The benefits are impressive:

• Reduced material usage: A reduction of 15%.
• Lower volume: 15% less freight volume, leading to more efficient transport.
• Improved compression strength: Better ECT values (Edge Crush Test) for optimal protection.
• Lower CO2 emissions: Up to 24% less in transport and up to 5% less in production per square meter of corrugated cardboard.
